I'd always wondered why he was so quiet. He kinda reminded me like... like when you find a dog stuck outside that's been lost for a really long time. Even if it might have been friendly once, it gets scared and angry and forgets what a nice person's touch is like. It wants to protect itself first, because that's what it's gotten used to.

I don't know if that's really the kind of person Virid-kun was, but... I always hoped he had found somebody he could talk to.
