All I know is the existance if the suffering that those kind of choices can bring, no matter how strong or determined someone might be. Even if you know you will die... to bring an entire world with you, and to say it is to protect those you love... it seems cruel, to me.
To be selfish isn't bad in itself. You need to be able to fight for yourself and your own desires. But... there are better ways to grieve, or to fight for what you have left, than to turn to something so drastic.
