...Like I said, its complicated, but essentially, he was never made to exist. He died as a boy, and a spirit...resurrected him in a new timeline so that he could find her again, and bring her story to light. But when he did, the spirit's power ran out, so that timeline just...disappeared
[She can't see, but on the other side of the door, he's just putting his head into his hands. He's so...tired.]
Now that world no longer remembers him. Only we do.
[Sometimes you go to a world, you're made into a kid's father, and then after ten years of raising him, your new son is effectively just erased from existence! Fun!!]
[There's a loud thump against the other side of the door, her weakly slamming a fist against the wood.]
Then tell people about him, Hansa-san!
His existence was important! You spent so much of your life with him and Emet-Selch-san! You raised him and you helped him be a good person, no matter what happened!! And even if the memory hurts, even if it's so much time you can't take back... a person that special to you deserved to be remembered by as many people as he can! Even if we've never met your son...
You... you're losing two people you've come to know so well and... you shouldn't have to do that all by yourself...!
Of course I'll tell people about him. Please don't...don't hit the door. [A sigh.] I'm just hurting right now, Hikaru. But I wouldn't do something like keeping him hidden away, okay? He deserves to be remembered.
