[She's plopped against a wall with a plushie of some sort curled up in her arms as she stares down at the floor. She's a bit of a mess, grass and bits of tree twigs stuck in her hair. Nearby, a broadsword sits, momentarily discarded.
She starts at her name, glancing up at Hansa and immediately trying to sit herself up a little more.]
Hansa-san...
I was trying to see if I could talk to anybody from the castle... Did you get the message about Hajime-chan, too?
[She nods, squirming a bit as he handles her hair, but not fussing too much otherwise.]
I couldn't sleep. There's a nice tree past the planetarium that I use for kendo training. I've gone out to do that if I can't really sleep, cause it makes me tired if I try really hard...
[She rubs at one of her eyes with the back of her hand.]
I guess I was a lot more tired than I thought, though.
[She glances back down, biting down on her lip for a moment.]
I need to ask them things first. I need to know why this happened. If they're the only ones that can talk to the Realm right now, I... I want to hear why.
[She hesitates at the repetition, surprised, before simply nodding. No need to worry about her when everyone else is sad, too. She can, at least, still walk on her own two feet.
As to his second question:]
No. Not really, anyway. I know the Realm isn't a person or anything, but... they really didn't explain much when I asked my leader. Nothing more than what they said a week ago, anyway.
Yes. I was told that the Realm doesn't "speak". It doesn't show pictures, either. Our masked benefactors can't really speak to it, or send it messages.
All it does is share its feelings with them. And deciphering those feelings the best they can is all they can do. Its...a one-sided thing.
[He can agree on that. His hand draws back to rest on his knee - his eye glances to the broadsword near her.]
We all want to know. Believe me. But...we'll see what those masked people say tomorrow, Hikaru. For now...you should get some rest. The morning is wiser than the evening.
[It sure is a sword! Definitely looks like it's seen some recent use, though it's mostly just scuffed up and dirty. It's taking a nap on the floor now, shhh.]

[He comes right on over, moving into a squat in front of Hikaru. After a pause, he reaches forward, plucking out a few twigs out of her hair.]

Even if it's one-sided... if it's trying to communicate somehow, and the leaders can feel that... then that's still a way to talk.
If it's trying to tell us all that something's gone wrong, or if the Realm itself is angry at something... I still wanna know. I think everybody does.
