She's being quiet as she looks for him, a suspicious feeling in her gut that he doesn't wanna be found. But she looks anyway. This close to their goal, and she wasn't about to abandon Kano now.
[ Blanket burrito is trying to find somewhere dark and quiet to take his afternoon nap, thanks. You know what's stupid? All the rooms at the inn having double beds with one occupant and none of them open with his PHS /:
So eventually where Kano curls up is the Planetarium. Dark but filled with light at the same time, thousands upon thousands of pinpoints of light waiting to fall out of the sky and turn into wishes. ]
[It's almost bittersweet, to find him in here. But she's gonna turn on her heel and go hound somebody (probably claude? probably claude) until she can grab a blanket from one of the rooms and come straight back.
She doesn't even say anything. She just drops one half of the blanket over him before curling up on the floor underneath the other half with an exhausted sigh.
[ Imagine if Kano just slept for 24 hours, he wouldn't have gotten yelled at and he would have been well rested in exchange, wow, hindsight.
But the day's events have passed and he finds himself back here after whatever the hell it was that happened on Saturday. There is no sense of accomplishment. Just the familiar sense of dread, like sitting in the lobby the night before his execution, like standing on the edge of the roof staring at the snake. ]
[She'll slip back in here once she's made sure Raven wasn't fucking dying. She's still pretty beat up, but she keeps her steps quiet as she approaches. Is he lying on the floor again, what's he doing, this is important.]
[ He's lying on the floor, having shoved himself away into a corner so he's mostly out of sight and out of the way, if Hikaru hadn't known he was in the same place from the night prior. Flat on his back, hands clasped over his stomach, his eyes are awake and it just looks like he's staring into space lost in thought. ]
[ It was frustrating, but. He smiles anyways, because he gets it— perpetuates it- digs himself his holes. ]
We haven't talked in weeks, you know? The last they saw of me- the trial, the execution- it's what sticks. It's not like they have any reason to try.
[ In the minds of the living, he is somebody who stalled trial, who tried to kill Jeanne. Without knowing his reasons, of course they remain biased against him. ]
[she keeps it quiet. her anger has fizzled to embers now, and she knows he doesn't care as much as she does. but having several people get in her face over what seemed like a simple request has her a little sour]
After all this time and how hard they tried to get us all back, they should have least cared a little less about what you did and a little more about you as a person.
Life isn't fair. I'm just part of the whole they tried to get back. The principle of not leaving anybody behind. We have lots of heroes in our group, after all~
[ But that means shit about him as a person. Nobody would have fought so hard to get him back if it were only him in the graveyard needing to be saved. ]
...I wonder if it's happened before. Everybody in the clear 'cept for me, and they chose to start over all the same.
WEEK SEVEN - FRIDAY
She's being quiet as she looks for him, a suspicious feeling in her gut that he doesn't wanna be found. But she looks anyway. This close to their goal, and she wasn't about to abandon Kano now.
Where'd you go, blanket burrito?]

I would have never left you behind. Shiro-san, Izumo-chan, Elsa-sama, Alex-san, they wouldn't have left you behind.
[Her hands wring against her skirt.]
Just because you made decisions that people disagreed with... that's no reason for you to be kept from everything you care about.
