there's going to be a cry of a hawk in the sky, around wherever hikaru is. probably because there is a hawk in the sky, seeming to circle around - though the hawk won't actually descend for a while, at least not until soo-won is in sight.
though when the hawk does start to speed down toward the other, it has to circle around hikaru in order to get to soo-won, who automatically holds an arm out for the hawk to land on
but with its descent probably comes a gust of air, a little bit surprising. soo-won looks to her with an apologetic smile]
Oh - good afternoon. Sorry, was that too close?
i can't believe i didn't turn off screening hi hello
[After all the smaller animals and birds that Hikaru's seen in the day she's been here, a larger bird definitely catches her eye, her even stopping to watch with wide eyes near the plaza.
There's a slight moment of panic when it swoops down, but she stands her ground, an arm only coming up to shield her face as she follows the path of the hawk to--]
Oh! Haku-san! [She lights up, her steps practically bouncing.]
No, I'm okay! That was awesome! Is that bird your friend?
[Hikaru's just emerging from the planetarium when Soo-won might see her, a sword weakly dragged with one hand while the other holds a plush of some sort, gripping it tight against herself as she plops to a seat outside the building.
She'll lift her head once he's close enough, her eyes tired and full of hurt.]
[well he's going to head over to where hikaru is stretched out - and he's got a tray! the tray has a pot of tea, as well as a few empty cups, like he's expecting to go out to a few different places tonight
but he'll move to settle beside her, and pour cups for both of them]
[what if she just sat here and turned into grass would that be more productive than the shitshow that was that trial--
She stays remarkably still for a long while, splayed out like a starfish with a little plushie doll on top of her chest, staring up at the darkening sky with a conflicted expression. Her eyes flick to Soo-won when he sits nearby, blowing out a long exhale but not sitting up right away.]
Mad.
I'm gonna go try to talk to him later, Haku-san. I want to know why he did it.
[well i guess this is becoming a trend ala tiny child running around looking for woo woo on a sunday evening
Hikaru still looks like death warmed over, but she's got a little less depression and a little more determination in her step as she beelines through the inn, deliberately looking for people.
When she spots Soo-Won, she's heading right for him.]
Haku-san.
...I'm sorry, I don't mean to interrupt, but... I need to talk to you about something.
[soo-won looks a little pale himself, but not too bad! he looks a little surprised when hikaru is nyooming for him, but offers only a tilt of his head]
You're not interrupting anything. What is it, Hikaru?
[soo-won is around! he seems to have a book with him, and he's just finishing it up again(?). when he notices someone approaching, he offers up a gentle smile]
[She's trotting around with a couple folded up pieces of paper, a pen in her mouth as she furrows her brow at her PHS. But she'll perk up when she sees Soo-Won.]
Ah, yeah! Something like that. [She'll look curiously at whatever is in his hands, though.] What are you reading, Haku-san?
[he'll turn the cover over so it's easily for her to see - ]
A medical book. One of the Leaders let me have it. I'm seeking to make sure that I have it memorized by the end of the week so that Archer needn't taken on all the burdens of seeing to our injuries on his own.
[There's a full body flinch when he says her name, but she doesn't respond. She only takes him by the wrist and starts to lead him somewhere not in the middle of everyone. Sorry woo woo you're getting pulled to room 7.

Mm, that's right. This is Gulfan. Gulfan, say hello.
[gulfan doesn't say hello but he does turn his head toward their new visitor. everyone that soo-won introduces him to is on his Do Not Eat list]
no subject
:D]
Hi, Gulfan! It's nice to meet you!
[She'll even give a little bow, though it's rushed and awkward.]
Ah, did he come here with you? Or did he fly all the way here to make sure you were okay?

Haku-san...
Hey, are you gonna go try to talk to the leaders?
no subject
Ah - I did shortly after receiving the notification... I take it that they didn't answer you either?
no subject
No. I asked as hard as I could...
Sora-kun said they're probably just really busy, because of what happened, but... I had to try, you know?

but he's going to turn to hikaru when he sees her, offering up a smile]
Ah, hello Hikaru. What are you up to today?
[she's always running around so!!]
no subject
Hikaru seems pretty low-key today! She'll give him a quiet wave, trotting over.]
Just looking for right now. There's so much here this time, isn't there? I think it's kind of cool.
[Her eyes fall on the horse, pleased as she carefully approaches where it can properly see her.]
Where did you learn how to ride horses, Haku-san?
no subject
[but he'll smile as he offers a hand out to her, in case she'd like to join him -
though in that moment, the horse's tail does a little swishy. which pops one of the bubbles and lo and behold, a memory plays.
One word from Soo-won makes the whole town move.]
